Have you ever wanted a car, but never had enough money? It seems, this problem belongs to the past. Although, one little complication lasts. You have to live in India. The Chairman Ratan Tata, automaker from India presented brand new model of the super cheap car Tata Nano at 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi, January 10, 2008. At the first sight is Tata Nano, tiny little car, but it it can fit five people,if they are not very tall or fat. The company declared to construct cheap model of the car and as Ratan Tata said: " A promise is a promise." Now, cars in India are available for much more people, who couldn't afford it before. Unveil of this car meets different reactions. At one side it's a revolution to construct such a cheap car, but opponents rise objections it will bring more negatives than positives. The roads in India are already overcrowded with number of cars and it is expected the number of people who own cars can rise dramatically after Nano will be introduced on the market. However it needs only 1 litter to 20 km, more cars means more emissions and more pollution to cities. The low prize is consequence of little complements, for instance no radio, no air conditioning and no passenger-side mirror, when you want to have more comfort the deluxe version is available.The company claim The Nano have all required tests of safety. Scientist Rajendra Pachauri, awarded by the Nobel Peace Prize said: "I'm having nightmares," about low-cost cars. In the 2005 Indian vehicles released 219 millions ton of carbon dioxide and it' expected due to the rising production of low-cost cars to the 1.467 millions in 2035. "The cheaper and cheaper the vehicles become the quicker those levels of pollution will increase" said Jamie Leather, transport specialist with the Asian development bank.

It is expected for the service to become available in spring. The Web site of American Airlines recognizes users of mobile devices and directs them to a mobile version of AA.com, according to their official statement. The content will be more condensed than it usually is on a regular site for users of desktop or notebook computers, but in exchange it will facilitate navigation from a mobile device. Computers run still faster

It's not possible to stop a development of computers and computer science. If you know the Moore's Law you will not be surprised by following information. The new invention of analysts and programmers will allow computers to go much faster than before. The answer is in microprocessor chips. A speed of chips is reaching almost 4 gigahertz ( 4 billion cycles per second) and probably it's not possible to make it higher because when the chips run faster it's heat will fry themselves. The chips with two, three or four processors are available. The idea of analysts is to add more "cores" - the copies of the processor circuity itself. The computers usually have only one processor which make all operations. With adding parallel processors could complicated applications for instance some video games run faster. Although it sounds good it's not easy to realize."Most application programs were written to run with one processor and adding parallelism is not trivial."told Tom Halfhill senior analyst for the Microprocessor Report newsletter in San Jose, California. "The typically end-user applications have no facilities for using multiply cores." he continued. For the ordinary users it will be senseless to own computers with parallel cores, because in fact they don't need it. The speed of new chips will be noticeable only with more complicated applications. Analysts predict the PC with the parallel processors will be able to reconfigure itself according the necessity. For instance when the user is playing video game some of the cores could convert themselves to graphic processors to manage the workload. The parallel chips in computers are not a brand new idea. They are used in Internet traffic or cell phone tower traffic.

Earth hit by man-made objects?

I bet all of you have ever seen fictions about how the space objects may possibly hit the Earth and what impact it may cause. Although most of them predict a devastating end of the humans, the reality is a bit different. So how do these meteorites behave and do they mirror an eventual danger for us? And are they the only objects that can hit the Earth from the space? It is a natural object originating in outer space that survives an impact with the Earth's surface and that's how he is able to hit the Earth. Meteorites aren't likely to be predicted, at least not with a certainty. So far they have been recovered on the basis of eye-witness accounts of the fireball or the actual impact of the object on the ground. The concentration of the meteorite falls tends to be more probable in areas with high human population densities such as Europe, Japan, and northern India. The possible danger arises when the size of it reaches high numbers and the impact of the hit could be overwhelming because of the likelihood of crater creation. The behavior of the meteorites cannot be foretold and that is why people in endangered areas can't prepare for the hit. However, meteorites mostly don't reach such intensity and fortunately, the majority of them ends up as a harmless space object worth to discover. A small number of meteorite falls have been observed with automated cameras. The first of these was the Pribram meteorite, which fell in Czech Republic in 1959. It was followed by the 1977 meteorite in Canada and recently in Neuschwanstein, the German discovery in 2002. Those were just the most famous ones, but in fact to this day, few stony meteorites are reported each year that can be considered to be "accidental" finds. There are now over 30,000 meteorites finds in the world's collections. As mentioned, most of them are just small innocent space treasures. What is more, the latest news advises us there is a possibility we will get hit also by another objects & a human-made ones. To be accurate, a deadly spy satellite is going to fall from the space. The sat lost its power and it is predicted to be seen again on Earth's surface between February and March. The bizarre story is likely to attract movie producers, because the danger is quite high. The specialists can't determine the spot where the sat should fall to. Hopefully, the end of the issue will be happy as it tends to be in movies with similar plot.

Expensive sport

People love sport. A lot of them just live with it and they check scores of every matches and it doesn't matter if it is football, baseball, hockey or bowl. You have to count out every coin. How? Imagine: For example, it is lunch time and you don't want to spend a lot, maybe only about $3. No problem! Just go to the Arizona State campus in Tempe. Very nice place, it is smoky there and you can sit on something what is only a little bit similar to chair but you can buy hamburgers for $2.93 and get ice tea free. Or you can looking for free park but it means to drive more miles to find it. There is also the other one possibility. You can try to win some money but be careful because it is risk as well and you can come back at home with debits.

Time Warner Cable Bills Tornado Victims

Imagine how terrifying and dangerous is a tornado demolish. How many people loose their houses, or worse their lives? Many, and this is the most tragic thing that can happen to you. To loose your friend, child or parents. All of us have problems to deal with terrifying things, especially tornadoes. Ann Beams' house has been demolished by tornado. It was bad enough to expect there could be some more unpleasant message. "I just couldn't believe it. It was like, 'What are they thinking?'" said Ann Beam after she received a cable bill which said $2,000. She called the cable company as soon as possible, but the conversation was useless. The Time Warner Cable company said that there is nothing they could do to help her. Ann Beam said: "They said I would have to take the bill and turn it in to my insurance company." But this wasn't the solution to the problem. Insurance company paid just very small amount of money, because the cables were nine years old and thus Ann Beam couldn't cover her bills. Celeste Flynn, a spokeswoman for Time Warner Cable said: "We understand this is an unusual situation. All they will need to do is call and we will take the equipment off their account." Cable company said that many customers are charged for the unreturned equipment because they canceled service by themselves.

Sociéte Géneral-potential takeover target?

After a multi-billion-euro rogue trade losses rumours have appeared that the french bank giant Sociéte Géneral will have to face hostile takeover bids. Bank´s chairman Daniel Bouton also faces pressure to stand down. French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde said that she is „convinced“ the bank needed a change of chairman. But her claim is in disagreement with President Sarkozy´s statement. Also Jean Arthuis, the head of the French Senate finance committee claimed:“I don´t think Bouton has any choice but to leave.“ As rumours have started that bank could potentionaly be a takeover target, banl´s shares immidiately Prime minister Francois Fillon warned the government „will not allow Sociéte Géneral to be the target of hostile raids.“ „Sociéte Géneral is a great French bank...and the government intends it to remain a great French bank and globalised player,“ Fillon said. Two top french banks are said to be making their offer – BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole. There are also brittish applicants – HSBC and Barclays which have also been named as potential bidders. The main suspect of the caused losses, Jerome Kerviel is still under formal investigation. He was accused of using false documents and unauthorised computer access, but judges did not approve any other serious charge of fraud. Kerviel told his prosecutors his bosses must have been aware of placing such a great amount in risky futures trades, but Sociéte Géneral defends itself that Kerviel had been challenged several times about risky operations, and each time he produced fictious documents to justify himself.

Bush's budget for 2009

Policy is not a game. It is a fight where the strongest one wins and who can enforce his ideas and persuade others about their accuracy. When a politician is not able to persuade the opposition, it can lead to various unexpected problems. Bush who is trying to spur economy and safety of the US projects $3 trillion budget. Democrats don't want to support his spending plan and they are prepared to wait even until the new president takes office. As it was in the past, Bush wants to invest big amounts into national security & defense spending should be higher about 7 percent what presents $ 515 billion and homeland security should increase in more than 10 percent. President wants some extra money get to education programs and into inspections of imported food. On the other hand there are some cuts prepared too. The bulk of government programs should be frozen at the level they have now, and Bush also applies for almost $ 200 billion in cuts in the major health programs such as Medicare for retirees or Medicaid for the poor. Democrats attacked this plan and they say it's just a continuation of failed policies and Kent Conrad, Senate Budget Committee Chairman said this budget doesn't have "priorities of the American people." Another reason for criticism Bush's planned budget refers to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. While total costs for these wars cost the US government about $ 200 billion in Bush's budget there are only $70 billion suggested in 2009. Bush includes into his budget also request to hire new diplomats which should help to the State Department doubled its size. For State Children's Health Insurance there is prepared $19.7 billion increase & this amount was arranged between Bush's $5 billion request and $35 billion increase requested by Congress. Bush also counts with some spending in federal support for poor students but some of education programs should be eliminated.

Traffic regulation tightening

Busted! You can no longer put on lipstick, nor shaving or carrying a pet at the wheel if you are on the driver seat and of course if you live in northern Mexico. No one stops you, but it would lead to hefty fines. It is another step in the plan of authorities that are trying to cut down on traffic accidents. Just to make an image of how the Mexican driving system works lets see how much you would pay for putting on make-up or shaving with an electric razor. According to Mexican media report on Saturday the fines will be up to 346 pesos ($32) in the northern Mexican city of Torreon from this month. Torreon city hall classified as misdemeanors driving while intoxicated, speeding, and talking on a telephone without a headset, throwing trash out of a car window, and driving with another person or an animal on a motorist's lap. For these demeanors the fines are higher and this city opens way to a stiffening traffic law that Mexican drivers will most probably ignore like they do it with stop lights, drive drunk or with children in the front seat, and carry passengers in the back of pick-up trucks. Their behavior however makes from fatal accidents a common thing. If it will help, the Mexican authorities don’t know yet, but they expect at least an improvement to be seen, so there will not be anymore situations like that from Pink’s video: Stupid Girls.
